NB This device requires an *external* 12V DC power source, such as a 12V vehicle battery, a 12V power brick, a 12V vehicle electrical system, or any available 12V DC power source capable of delivering a continuous current of 100mA and a peak current of 150mA should the alarm be activated.
Power is applied to the device via two terminals (labelled P1 and P2) at the rear of the unit. These terminals are non-polarised ie. reversible so no harm will come to the unit by accidentally reversing the power connection.
